Meet Your Midwife

My own personal experiences are what led me down this path. 

After a life-long fear of childbirth, in 2018 I became pregnant with my first child.

 I had A LOT of fear- so therefore had a lot of dismantling to do. I chose to birth in a hospital setting, and after numerous interventions, 3 1/2 hours of pushing, I met my first born. I tried to do all the “right things”-- I hired a doula and a hospital based midwife (after firing my OBGYN) but still ended up in a system that didn’t truly support physiological birth. 

My whole pregnancy I spent so much time researching, studying, and trying to teach myself to trust birth when the world of birthwork was opened up to me. I knew I wanted another child soon after (which I did in 2020), and told myself when I was done breastfeeding I would dive in.

 In 2021 I became a certified Doula through Dona International, and started my midwifery apprenticeship with a local midwife who has been serving the Las Vegas valley for 13 years. In 2025 I achieved my dream and my hard work payed off by receiving my CPM through NARM (North American Registry of Midwives).
