From the moment you become an official client, we communicate throughout your pregnancy and you’ll notify me at the start of labor so that I can prepare my family to join you. Updates on how labor is progressing is key. I’ll be waiting for the notification that you have reached an active labor phase or 6-7 cm. Once I arrive, I am there with you for the long haul. Through the rest of labor, through delivery and up to 2 hours after baby is born.

Absolutely. This session is first and foremost a documentary session. I capture everything, but I also try and grab angles where the images have a more modest feel as well. Do you have to share them with anyone else? Not necessarily. Once you’ve been able to view your gallery, you will be given a quick model release to sign to specify which types of images (if any) is okay to share. If you choose to keep your gallery private, that’s okay. 

Absolutely! I love capturing sibling moments. Keep in mind, though, that babies come when they come and it can quite possibly be in the middle of the night. You might want to think about what happens if you deliver at 2 am and whether you want to wake your other children. I recommend that if siblings and family members join, that they plan to do so about an hour after the baby is born.

Absolutely. In order to book lock-in your due date on the calendar, I do require a non-refundable retainer of $400 which is applied to your balance. From there, you choose how much you want to pay and when you want to pay throughout the remainder of your pregnancy. I just ask that your balance be paid in full by 36 weeks.

Upon booking, we communicate throughout your pregnancy and you’ll notify me at the start of labor so that I can prepare my family to join you. I’ll be waiting for the notification that your baby has been born and we will discuss a mutually agreed upon time for the session. 

Not for this type of session. On average, sessions are held between 36 hours to 4 days after delivery. If you are looking for coverage just after baby is born, then my Just Born Sessions are the best option for you.

Absolutely! I love capturing those special moments. However, these sessions are mainly for the immediate family. You’re welcome to invite grandparents, etc to join you, but I ask that they arrive no earlier than an hour into the session to minimize distractions. 

This being a lifestyle session, I will lightly direct you and your family into poses. Although I will be getting images of baby alone and all of their sweet details, this doesn’t include props and will not involve any newborn posing. 

Although you don’t have to pay for the session in full upfront, I do require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the session cost in order to lock-in your due date on the calendar. The remaining balance is due anywhere between the day of the session and up to 3 days later. Of course, you will have access to your client portal as soon as you’re officially booked to view your invoice and make payments towards your session whenever you choose.
